Traditional Thai clothing, made to measure

For a wedding, a ceremony, or simply because the fabric is beautiful — made on your measurements, not a size chart.

Chut thai — traditional Thai dress — is still living clothing here in Isan: worn to weddings, temple festivals, ordinations and, for teachers and officials, to work every week. We make it to measure, one garment at a time, from fabric you bring or fabric we help you choose.

What we make

A mauve lace top with a plum pha sin — modern Thai dress worn in everyday life

Invited to a Thai wedding?

A quick answer for foreign guests: dress modestly and lightly — a good shirt and smart trousers, or a knee-covering dress, beats a dark suit in the heat. Avoid black (funerals) and don’t wear white head-to-toe (the bride). If you have a week, a shirt or dress in local silk is a wonderful gesture — and a keepsake. Message us your dates and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible.

Timing, honestly

Made-to-measure Thai clothing takes 2–4 weeks with a fitting along the way. Wedding season (November–February) books out early. The grand ceremonial styles you see in photoshoots are usually rented, not tailored — if renting serves you better for a one-off, we’ll say so.
